Reverse Bang Posting Guide

This entry is to provide guidance on how to post your Fandoms Galore Reverse Bang story and/or artwork.

1. On your posting date, post your story / artwork on ao3 (or whatever website your preferred posting site is). Add your post to the Fandoms Galore Reverse Bang 2024 Collection on ao3 https://archiveofourown.org/collections/Fandoms_Galore_Reverse_Bang_2024.

2. During your posting period, the mods will enable access to our Fandoms Galore Bangs site to create a blog entry. Log in to the FG Bangs site and create your blog entry. Include the link to the story / artwork.

3. Scream it to the world! You did it!!

Create Login to Fandoms Galore Bangs Site

1. Receive email with invitation to the FG site.

2. Click Accept Invite on the email received.

   

3. The Wix collaboration page will open in your browser.

   

4. Click Create Account and follow instructions to create a Wix account (if you don’t already have one).

5. The Posts screen will display.

Create Blog Post on FG Bangs Site

1. On the designated date, click Create New Post. A blank new post screen will display.

   

2. Complete as follows:

Body	Authors: Title: Link to story (and artwork if embedded): Author Name: Artist Name: Word Count: Fandom(s): Category: Gen, Het or Slash Pairings: Warning(s) / Spoiler(s): Summary: Artists: Title: Artist Name: Author Name: Link to artwork (or story if embedded): Fandom(s):
Tags	Type and select the appropriate tags (e.g., reverse bang 2024, art post, fic, etc.).

3. To add an image to the blog entry, complete the following:

   1. Click Add on the top left and scroll down. Select HTML Code (in the From the web section).

      

   2. A blank html area will display. Click Edit HTML in the pop up.

      

   3.  The HTML code pop up will display.

      

   4. Enter the following text:

        <a href="URLtoArtwork"><img src="URLtoArtwork.png" width="100%" /></a>

      </p>

      NOTE: Enter the url to where the artwork is being hosted (e.g., imgur, etc.).

   5. Click Save. The artwork will display in the html box.

   6. Click and drag the edges of the html box to resize the image, as needed

4. Click the Publish button on the top right.

   

5. The post will be created.
